It’s easy to notice the feet
because it’s easy to look at the feet
nobody thinks you’re rude
when you stare at the floor
and you can think about everybody’s shoes
and all the different people
but I wanted to notice the eyes
the excellent winged liner
the brows
the bright white cataract half hidden
behind a curtain of dark hair
